Dans first experience with CPR Was a Lifeguard at Shore Beach Haven Beach Club in the Bronx New York in 1980. Dan has continued CPR Training for over 40 years. Dan earned his BBA at IONA College in Rochelle NY. In addition, His 30 years in the FBI Was Stationed in New York City and Philadelphia PA. Dan Continued his law enforcement training for 10 years as a Manager in Corporate and Private Security with "Sharing: FBI training with Security Guards of today ". Dan has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Guard Protective Services Industry and frequent guest speaker at our Training Center.

Jimmy Robinson is Certified SORA Instructor/Public Safety Officer/Sora Level 2 Officer/Act 235 Agent (PA)/Crises De-escalation Instructor/Armed Security Specialist/6 years Law Enforcement Background and former Certified Nursing Assistant and Medication Aid
Jimmy is a lifelong Trentonian born in the Wilbur Section of Trenton N.J Where he currently still resides. Jim is a Full time Public Safety Officer at the Lawrenceville School where he just recently received "The Henry and Janie Woods Meritorious Service Award " for his outstanding achievements. He has 6 years of Law Enforcement experience and had the privilege at working for over 15 private security firms and dozens of private and public institutions including non-profits, major corporations, schools and health care. Serving his employers and his community in major national events of the past from 911 to the Financial Crises of 2007 and recently Covid. Jim has over 30 years of experience in the security industry and wants to share his experience and vision with the next generation.

Paul Started his Law Enforcement career with the Marlboro Township Police Dept in New Jersey after earning his associates degree from Brookdale Community College. He Graduated from the Monmouth County Police Academy in 1986 and went on to serve 25yrs with his police agency. Paul Retired in 2011 at the rank of Seargeant but continues to actively teach Firearms Safety Training and "refuse to be a victim "classes.

At Guard en State Career Training, our mission is to empower individuals by providing comprehensive training programs for aspiring security officers. We are dedicated to equipping our students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the security and protective services industry. We pride ourselves in providing a ONE STOP DROP!! for SORA applicants.
Our Services
Guard en state career training center offers training requirement services for applicants of New Jersey Security Officer Registration Act (SORA) for armed and unarmed security professionals and law enforcement. SORA Classes are available for virtual and onsite training for initial applicants and renewals. We are excited to announce additional training components for candidates. Our certified CPR/AED Instructor is available for applicants who wish to obtain their CPR / first aid certification and our firearms Instructor who can qualify RPO'S and security officers on a quarterly basis. Those who wish to take the Civilian Carry Assessment and Range Evaluation aka (CCARE) can maintain their firearms carry permit for New Jersey. We hope that by offering this service we can also enhance new career opportunities for our applicants.
